Following their remix for Sandy Dae‘s ‘Losing Myself’ back in January, Enormous Tunes found it a no brainer to bring back German House duo Milk & Sugar for their first full release with the label. Michael Kronenberger and Steffen Harding have been collaborating together since the early 90s under a variety of monikers before settling on Milk & Sugar in 1997. The result has been nothing short of legendary as the guys have been churning out quality tunes ever since and have achieved a solid level of success with their label, Milk & Sugar Recordings, which has been putting out tunes as early as 1998. Coming complete with the original, the club mix, and two remixes from Sandy Dae and Calippo, ‘Heat (African Day) is ready to take audiences across the globe by storm.

‘Heat’ proves to be a club-ready track from the legendary German house duo and presents them with another quality production to add to an already impressive list. The lyrical assistance from South African singer & actress Nomfusi adds a bit of vocal flare to the track as her unique founds adds a refreshing twist to the song while the prominent horns and catchy drum rhythms push the track. Written about a hot day typically exhibited in Nomfusi’s homeland, the soulful and funk-laden lyrics play wonderfully off the groovy beat and brilliant percussive rhythm to blend the track nicely.
