The newest episode of SYNTH Radio comes to us all the way from the west coast in California, by up-and-coming talent Travis Dagz. Making moves in the Los Angeles scene, Travis Dagz has been steadily gaining gigs as of late including a slot at a gig at the Belasco for A-Bun-Dance last month. Making his mark with groovy beats and insatiable rhythm, Travis Dagz House and Tech House influences paint a picture on the dance floor for those lucky enough to witness. Dance and Rave was fortunate to capture a little bit of what Travis, aka Disco Diggy, has to offer in this hour long mix that locks in to a groove early on and doesn’t lose sight.
Kicking things off in proper fashion, Dagz opens up with the powerhouse duo Get Real, aka Green Velvet and Claude von Stroke, and the track ‘Snuffaluffagus’. Quickly establishing a groove rich in smooth percussive patterns, Travis Dagz shows early on why he’s a respectable DJ on the West Coast. Dagz cycles through a quality tracklist dishing out a smooth mix while keeping the listener’s on their toes throughout the duration of the mix with a blend of Deep, Tech, and House influences. Tracks such as ‘Only Fools’ by Holt Blackheath as well as Oscar L‘s ‘I’m Somebody’ and Sante Santos’ ‘Underwears’ do some serious damage on the dance floor and are incorporated into the mix quite well. Travis Dagz closes things out with Dennis Cruz‘s ‘Hydroponic’ resulting in an undoubtedlty proper finish.
Travis Dagz’ mix continues the Dance and Rave tradition of uncovering yet to be discovered talent across the globe and represents another quality delivery for our SYNTH Radio Show. If you haven’t done so already, be sure to catch Travis Dagz on his social media pages and give this mix a listen.
