San Holo has had nothing short of a magical year in 2016. The breakout artist has been all over the place this year with the successful New Sky EP coming out earlier in the year just after announcing the massive North American Tour to go along with it. San Holo then joined acts like Jauz and Yellowclaw on stacked lineups more often than not leaving the crowd in awe with a punishing yet delightful style that incorporates the new ‘heaven trap’ phenomena. The latest piece of work from San Holo is a flip of one of Clams Casino‘s tracks titled ‘I’m God’. A somber and slightly chopped melody kicks off the edit before San Holo quickly works towards an anthemic drop that is both powerful and soft at the same time. Rapid percussive beats hold down the background while vocal samples from the original fade in and out and the occasional bird-like chirp fills the air. A fsoft and bouncy edit to get the crowds warmed up, this is a perfect early slot track to have some fun with.
