Alan Fitzpatrick - 'Friday Night Dancing'Prepare yourselves, this one will undoubtedly rattle your speakers. It’s the latest from Techno Titan Alan Fitzpatrick and it’s an absolute monster. Titled ‘Friday Night Dancing’, the track found a home on his relatively new imprint by name of We Are The Brave and features a stellar remix from none other than Skream on the B Side. The label’s first release, ‘We Do What We Want’, also came from Fitzpatrick resting comfortably to the tune of nearly 400k plays on Soundcloud and the follow up appears to have similar potential.

Immediately, Alan Fitzpatrick blasts a bone-rattling sub kick through the speakers. Slowly, a variety of claps and pads make their way through the background, keeping the listener on their toes while the kick remains study. A vocal echo is layered over the top sporadically and not long after, the consistent ring of a hi hat joins. Elongated synths graze over the top of this cut while the vocals and percussive rhythms fade in and out around the main beat.

Skream picks the pace up a little bit, highlighting an open hi hat beat and rapid hits on the percussive side. A frantic synth melody fades in and out while the hi hats keep ringing. It’s got a real solid European techno feel to it, providing a nice change of pace from the stellar original.
