KMS Records, the longstanding record label founded by Detroit Techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and in a big way. With a big year in store, the KMS crew ends January on the right foot by introducing their latest release, a single from rising NYC based star Greco. Having just released a record alongside Kevin Saunderson’s son, Dantiez, on Kerri Chandler‘s Mad Tech Records, Greco now adds KMS to the laundry list of reputable labels he’s released on thus far.
‘House Jam’ embodies everything the Greco sound stands for. Precision, vibe soaked instrumentals, jackin’ rhythms, and groovy synths all play in to this vocal dripped work of art. Greco instills open-faced hi hats that rattle in the atmosphere while punchy sub kicks drive the rhythm of the track. Add in some crunchy wubs and what you’ve got is another clear cut groover from Greco so be sure to check this one out ahead of it’s release on Friday, January, 27th and let us know what you think!
