The prominently bass-oriented label, Monstercat, is welcoming a brand new trance song to their imprint. What better way to introduce the genre to the label than with one of the most renowned trance artists of the last deacde, Gareth Emery. The new single “Saving Light,” with Standerwick featuring vocalist Haliene is a beauty of a track, sure to be a new classic for Emery’s catalog.
Dreamy vocals introduce the track with a small piano riff to give depth to the opening. About a minute into the tune, synths are introduced in true Gareth Emery fashion to bring a new feel to the song, building up in a chaotic sequence before transitioning into the main progression. The song is a true testament to the power that trance tracks can have on your emotions.
Alongside the powerful record is the equally emotional music video. Taking a stand against bullying, Gareth delivered a music video that is sure to touch the hears of many and hopes to inspire a world of change through it’s release. In addition, from now until March 1st, 100% of the profits raised through purchases and streams of this song will be contributed to the anti-bullying group, Ditch the Label. Monstercat will be continuing the money raising effort through their own donation drive, as well. You can stream the music video below, and be sure to support the cause!
