Ear damage among party-goers these days is a serious issue. Many of today’s event attendees are younger and unaware of the effects long term exposure to such loud music can have on hearing down the line. Because of this, a lot of the industry’s taste makers have taken it upon themselves to not only educate, but to arm the masses with the proper protection in order to keep the party going as long as possible.
Towards the end of last year during the Amsterdam Dance Event, we saw Spinnin’ Records team up with Earproof for a product that was sponsored by Ferreck Dawn, and this year we see Armada Music follow in those same foot steps.
The Armada family, who hava recently formed partnerships with Kevin Saunderson and Robbie Rivera, joined forces with Alpine Hearing Protection to deliver an all new product to dance music fans across the globe. The Alpine PartyPlug Armada Edition is not only available for purchase online through the Armada Music Shop, but will also be sold during A State of Trance 800 in Utrecht, the largest all Trance event in the entire world.
Studies show that in the Netherlands alone, an astonishing 20,000 people per year suffer from hearing damage due to a neglect that Armada and Alpine are trying to rid the world of, and these earbuds are certainly a step in the right direction.
