Canadian artist Dabin has been making waves as one of the most talented, multi-faceted artists to rise to prominence over the last couple of year. Whether he’s in the studio producing monster releases, or on stage incorporating live drums and guitars in to his sets, Dabin is capable of just about doing it all. Tabbing the assistance of Apashe and vocalist Madi, ‘Lilith’ is the second single off the rising talent’s Two Hearts LP, following in the footsteps of the majestic initial single, ‘You & I’.
‘Lilith’ uses much of the same emotion to encapsulate the listener early on, this time crossing several soundscapes effortly to paint the portrait. With Madi’s soft vocals capturing the listener early on, it’s easy to miss the early progression working from an atmospheric tune to something of an orchestrated piece in to one of the filthiest drops 2017 has seen yet. The dramatic instrumental arrangement consists of groovy electric guitars and smooth string melodies while the back end of this record is highlighted by swift chopping of Madi’s vocals. With ‘Lilith’ following ‘You & I’, fans have gotten a bit of a glimpse of what to expect come the LP’s full release on March 31st via Kannibalen Records.
