In preparations for the release of his debut album, Lee Foss is dropping a remix package centered around one of the LP’s featured singles. Being released on March 17th on his the Jamie Jones and Lee Foss led Emerald City imprint is the single ‘Living In The City’, with remixes from some top talent in MK and Detlef following.
Lee Curtis, Spencer Nezey, and Alex Nazar join Foss in the production of ‘Living In The City’. Within its soundscape, influences from Disco, Deep House, and Electronica blend together harmoniously, resulting in a damn smooth record.
MK, one of the scene’s premiere artists in terms of remixes, breathes new life in to the down tempo original. With just a touch of MK flavor, the song’s original identity remains intact while the energy is intensified.
On the other side, rapidly rising talent Detlef makes his presence felt with a stunning edit. Bringing driving grooves to settle around a looped vocal chop, Detlef’s swift production results in an infectious dance floor anthem.
The Hot Creations and Emerald City co-founder (alongside Jamie Jones) is titling the album Alchemy, and has stated that it’s been a project in the works since late 2015. The LP’s full release will be available on April 7th. Give ‘Living In The City’ and its remixes a play and watch out for its release on the 17th as well as the LP from Lee Foss on 4/7.
