SYNTH Radio is back. Along with the launch of the Dance and Rave record label comes the return of our radio show, geared at giving our talent a place to showcase their mixing abilities and the music that inspires them.
Up to bat for the month of June is Digit n Kemp. Dwight Lanham and James Kempley are a relatively fresh face in the UK scene, but are already managing to hold a steady rotation of gigs while polishing their production capabilities. The duo opens with the sultry sounds of Christiano Pequeno’s ‘Malibu Sunset’ to set the mood prior to settling in to an undeniable groove. Tracks such as ‘Dial’ by Tapesh and the Max Chapman remix of ‘Playing Music’ by Brett Gould highlight the mix’s moody body before Digit n Kemp closes out with the first ever Dance and Rave release, ‘Power’ by Jake Dudley. Be sure to listen closely, however, as you may just catch a sneak peak at one of the tracks coming on the debut Digit n Kemp EP next month.
You can catch the guys tomorrow night at the Institute Darlington where they will be playing Illusion alongside a slew of other local talent. In addition, be on the lookout for the release of the Defused EP coming out on Dance and Rave on July 14th.
