Beatfreak Recordings next release came early this August from well-known producer Vlada Asanin.

The Piper EP is loaded with five heaters, all ready for dance floor destruction at any given moment. Vlada leads with the title track, a collaboration alongside Frank Kid, that chugs along with the help of a lush pad melody and shrieking organ bit. Remixes come from the globe-trotting Saeed Younan, who’s had releases on everything from Saura to Toolroom to Viva Music, and Lucio Spain.

‘Colleteral Damage’ follows on the back side, following a similar rhythm down an eerier path. Lush pads are replaced with off-beat reverbs and echoing smacks that slowly build in to an energetic release aimed square at the dance floor. Remix for this one comes from the rising talent Apollo 84. Focusing on a more rhythmic low end, Apollo 84 filters several sound effects around an acid-tinged synth that buzzes over the top of the track’s soundscape.

The Piper EP lands on Beatfreak Recordings on August 11th.
