Visionquest co-founder Ryan Crosson has kept busy this summer both in the studio and on the tour circuit. This past week, he gave a brief bit of insight as to what we have to look forward to this coming Fall and has fans heavy with anticipation after announcing a new two-track EP would be out in the coming months alongside none other than Mathew Jonson.
The Robots of Dawn EP doesn’t have an official release date quite yet, but figures to land on the Visionquest label at some point in October. In addition, the EP’s b side features both Isis Kuaygarond and Cesar Merveille.
Visionquest is a Detroit-based record label that has been an integral part of the mid-west electronic music scene since being founded. The label is spearheaded by co-owners Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson, and Shaun Reeves and has a laundry list of accomplishments that is highlighted by the yearly celebration of what is widely regarded as one of the best parties in North America, Need I Say More at The Old Miami on the Monday morning of Movement weekend.
