House legend Green Velvet has remained as busy as ever in 2017, including collaborations with the likes of Latmun, and his latest offering comes this month alongside Parisian talent Shiba San.

The Fearless EP lands on GV’s Relief Records and is the follow up to Shiba’s Clean or Dirty EP on Riva Starr’s new Brockwild label.

The EP comes with four tracks in total, and Velvet’s signature sound is felt immediately on the opening record, ‘Chance’. Slick, rolling bass lines lay way to the looped signature vocals you can expect in a Green Velvet song, with all of that bassy flair we love from Shiba.

‘Rise’ features a percussive driven melody that largely lays the perfect foundation for a sultry and hypnotic vocal and an acid-tinged 303 line. The EP’s title track is a chunky tech house anthem with a series of rising and falling low ends and more sampled vocal effects.

For the EP’s fourth production, the duo deliver ‘Think’, a mellowed cut that closes out another quality release.
