257 Franklin St
Buffalo, NY 14202
It’s been nearly two years since DJ Craze graced the decks of Buffalo. Those who were there will remember the torrential down pour as Craze was heating up, the opening DJ literally holding a towel over Craze’s head, and the Miami-based veteran chopping the decks with ease as if it were a spring fling on the beach on a sunny day.
The Nicaragua-born DJ and producer has been mixing a blend of hip hop, trap, miami bass, breaks, and drum and bass for over 20 years now and is widely regarded as one of the best turntablists to ever do it.
DJ Craze won his first award for turntablism in 1995 before going on to win the World DMC Champion title in 1998, ’99, and 2000. He released his first album in 1999 and has since released another eight albums. In 2008, Craze joined Kanye West as the touring DJ on the Glow In The Dark Tour and recently teamed up with Rochester native Kill The Noise to launch Slow Roast Records. In addition, he also joined Yelawolf in 2011 as the touring DJ on the Hard White Tour before being replaced in 2011.
Dance and Rave and Factory Nightlife bring the veteran performer back to the roof of Sky Bar next month on July 7th. Tickets start at just $5 via the 4/$20 option with VIP tables available for purchase as well.
