House and Techno fans across the Northeast will tell you, Honcho consistently throws some of the best parties in the region. The Pittsburgh-based, yet consistently travelling, gender-fluid, queer-positive brand has seen its influences spread across the entire country with several artists becoming favorites in the WNY scene in addition to playing a role in the infamous Club Toilet party that takes place each year during Memorial Day Weekend in Detroit.
This, of course, doesn’t recount what they’ve done for the city of PGH. Residing at the local Hot Mass venue, Honcho has been steadily bringing some of the most innovative artists to their intimate gatherings for roughly five years, with a crew of residents such as Aaron Clark, Clark Price, and George D’adhemar that stand out on their own.
In 2015 the Honcho team launched their Summer Campout series, having absolutely no idea the magnitude of success it would achieve in those two short years. Now in its third year, Honcho’s largest event makes the move to an even larger location in order to accommodate more party-goers in a more appropriate setting. This year, the camp out takes place in the hills of Pennsylvania on the beautiful and spacious Four Quarters Farm.
This year’s camp out culminates with the Solar Eclipse taking place on Monday the 22nd. Ticket and lineup information will be announced in the coming weeks, so hit attending on the event page and follow Honcho on their socials to stay up to date.
