KM 9 Route de Ourika
There are not many festivals where you can take a camel ride during the day and dance under the stars with some of dance music’s brightest minds at night. Oasis Festival, however, does just that and is putting the country of Morocco on the global dance music map in doing so. The festival, which is now in its third year, returns to North Africa this September 14th-17th and its brief history has been one serious dance music fans have taken note of as of late.
The destination is Marrakech, Morocco with Chilean-American artist Nicolas Jaar, Elum boss and Ibiza resident Maceo Plex, and Berghain regular Marcel Dettmann, among others, headlining. The opening party on Thursday the 14th features a smooth four hour performance from Solomun with Amine K, Karmon, and Kenny Glasgow b2b My Favorite Robot on support.
The final announcement includes a series of performances from Jackmaster b2b Axel Boman, Tijana T, Joy Orbison b2b Kornel Kovacs, and more who will be joining KiNK, Mike Servito, Agents of Time, Charlotte de Witte, DJ Stingray, Jeremy Underground, and Henrik Schwarz b2b Jesse Rose as Black Rose at the picturesque music venue, The Source.
Tickets are still available, however they are on their fifth tier, and are roughly $200/ticket. Single day tickets are also at $99/piece for Friday and Saturday and $79/piece for Sunday.
